How To Unlock Pictomancer in FFXIV
Pictomancer is one of the new jobs available as part of the Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail expansion. Beginning at level 80, Pictomancer fits into the same category as the other magical ranged jobs such as Black Mage, Red Mage, and Summoner.
Where To Unlock Pictomancer?
To unlock Pictomancer you want to head to New Gridania and move to the Old Gradania area. The nearest aethernet crystal you can take is right ouside the Conjurer's guild.
Talk to the Cheerless Hearer (x: 8.0, y: 10.4) nearby to begin "The Joy of Pictomancy" quest. Follow the objectives and at the end you'll receive the Soul of the Pictomancer job stone, a weapon, and a coffer containing your starting gear for the Pictomancer.
